SFU Surge

SFU Surge is a club at Simon Fraser University that runs tech events and projects. I’m currently leading two of these projects, called Build-A-Bot Royale and Storm Area 52.

As the project leader I mentor team members through technical tasks, doing code reviews and facilitating collaboration.

Storm Area 52

Storm Area 52 is part of the first wave of projects SFU Surge developed. It was mainly made from Oct-Nov 2019, but we still work on it here and there.

Storm Area 52 is a local multiplayer party game about working together to break into a secret military base, collect evidence of state secrets, and escape before you’re detected.

Here’s the concept trailer we showed at the project showcase event in November 2019. It shows some of our concept art, early prototypes and clips of our MVP playable demo that we had event attendees play.
